A friend of mine baru aja covering lagu di youtube. She is a super talented girl, both, and her sister. An awesome dancer, anointed actress, greatly blessed writer, and now she is a gorgeous singer, plus they're gifted with pretty faces and attitudes.
Looking at them makes me realize and understand more about what was written in the bible, Matthew 25:14-30. The parable of the talents. Some receive 5, some receive 2, some receive 1, but believe me, no one in this world was born without talent(s), we just have to dig deeper to find it.
Dan selagi nongkrongin cover youtube mereka, satu kalimat yang dulu pernah gwe baca entah dimana terngiang kembali, 'kasih karunia Tuhan tuh kayak cahaya matahari, yang menerangi seeeeeemuaaa yang ada di bumi, cuma ya yang dapet, kadarnya berbeda-beda'.
Dan otak gwe melanjutkan, 'Seperti cahaya matahari yang menghidupi semua tanaman, manusia itu layaknya tanaman yang berbeda-beda, ada yang kayak pohon cemara, tumbuh besar. ada yang kayak pohon toge, kecil. ada yang kayak kaktus.. Tapi karena cahaya matahari itu, semua nya hidup, dan semuanya berguna (untuk orang lain)'
Sama seperti talenta, we are all gifted, differently. Some have 5 talents, super over multi talented, like my friend, some have 2 talents, and some have 1. But by the Power, the Grace and God's Favor, semua itu in the end akan berguna. What matter most bukan terletak di jumlah talenta yang we have, but seberapa berlipat kali gandanya talenta itu menjadi.
Whatever you're good at, singing, dancing, writing, acting, swimming, running, selling, talking, do it, whole heartily and bring Him praise through what you can do :)
